Every Sky-Tec Lycoming starter eliminates the trouble-prone Bendix drive found on legacy starters, delivering faster cranking, lower current draw, and built-in kickback protection. Models are available in 12V and 24V configurations for Lycoming O-235, O-290, O-320, IO-320, O-360, IO-360, O-540, IO-540, and related engine families.

Models

HT:

Features a high-torque motor and self-resetting Kickback Protection System (KPS). Available in 12V and 24V configurations for 122- and 149-tooth ring gear applications.

HT-H:

High-torque motor with auto-resetting Kickback Protection System (KPS). PMA approved for Robinson Helicopter applications.

E-Drive:

The highest duty cycle Lycoming starter available. In-line design replaces most Bendix-drive legacy starters. Self-resetting Kickback Protection System (KPS).

NL:

The most popular starter in the Sky-Tec Lycoming lineup. In-line design replaces most Bendix-drive legacy starters. Self-resetting Kickback Protection System (KPS).

XLT:

The lightest PMA-certified Lycoming starter, updated replacement for the legacy LS model. Available in 12V and 24V configurations for 122- and 149-tooth ring gear applications.
